Whilst your car is in for repair, why not ask about having small car-parking dings
removed from other panels on the car? Very often, if the paint has not been broken,
then it is possible to remove small dents without going down the more expensive route
of traditional body repairs.
We also offer a refurbishment service to take care of those annoying scrapes and
scratches to bumpers by carrying-out cheaper 'local' repairs. Practically invisible
to detect, this repair method is much less involved than the 'proper' way to repair
bumpers and consequently has a much quicker turn-round time, besides offering huge
savings on traditional repairs.
Remember how your car used to gleam when it was new? Over time, the clear lacquer
coat of your paintwork becomes minutely scratched, particularly if subjected to car-wash
machines which effectively
scour your paintwork as the nylon brushes pass over the car. The effect is the same
as if you were to rub sand-paper over glass, leaving it dull and cloudy. We are able
to bring that deep gloss back to your paintwork by ex-foliating the top layer with
quartz paste applied by low-speed lambswool mops, then hand-polished with anti-hologram
wax to finish. This process is especially effective on dark-coloured cars, particularly
when it rains and the water runs off in beads, just like it used to!
We use the services of a sub-contract company to refurbish alloy wheels. If your
car is in for body work for a week or more then it may be possible for us to arrange
for the wheels to be taken to Pristine Wheels, or alternatively, we would be happy
to give you their contact details should you choose to use them yourself. They will
repair wheels singularly or by the set.
