Triangle Sprays Ltd is committed to producing the highest standards of repair to motor vehicles when in need of body work.

Our modern premises are fully equipped to cope with all levels of repair, from a scratch to a complete body change. We mix our own paint colours and use Spies-Hecker water-based material and have done since the 1990’s.

We are approved repairers for Saab and Mercedes Benz and the bulk of our work is on those two marques. To become approved repairers for such prestigious brands is testimony to our work ethic and, to become a repairer for these manufacturers one has to be able to demonstrate a very high level of craftsmanship, skill, quality and people skills. Additionally, we are subject to regular inspections from both manufacturers to ensure that those standards are upheld. Approval can be removed more easily than achieving it and approval is restricted to a handful of body shops nationwide.

In the past, we have chosen to only work on Saab and Mercedes-Benz. However, we have found that our clients do not necessarily stay with the same marque and we realised that these customers wanted to have their current vehicle repaired by us rather than through another body shop but we were preventing that from happening. We were also experiencing many enquiries from friends of our clients who had been directed to us by their recommendation and we began to feel uneasy at being so selective. We therefore made the decision to open up our facility for all other makes of car. We do make exceptions however if the vehicle has been extensively damaged and there is evidence of chassis damage, as we firmly believe that manufacturer-approved repair centres are the only ones who should undertake that type of work on the marque for which they have been trained to work on.

The equipment and materials that we use also have to be approved by our manufacturer partners and are extensively tested by them before they will authorise their usage. This includes all such equipment as welders, jig systems, repair data, paint ovens, adhesives and water-based paint systems.

The standards set by both manufacturers are extremely high but the approved equipment list is fairly small, as only the best is included. The same equipment, materials and skilled staff are used on all repairs to all makes of vehicle. Triangle Sprays does not differentiate between makes or models and everything is repaired to the very same exacting standards as our Mercedes-Benz and Saab vehicles enjoy.

Triangle Sprays staff are extensively trained by Mercedes-Benz and Saab to ensure that we remain up-to-date with modern repair methods. Vehicles are forever evolving and we are seeing a steady change in repair methods. For instance, some body panels that are welded in factory are not able to be welded in body repair shops. Instead, powerful bonding adhesives and high-strength rivets are used and are as strong, or stronger, than the original. We are also seeing innovative ideas which require people to be fully trained to understand, such as air bags, seat belt restraints, pre-safe accident preparation sytems, global positioning systems and parking aids, besides the established yet sophisticated ABS, ESP and electronically-controlled suspension systems.

We have been members of the VBRA (Vehicle Body Repair Association) since the 1970’s and subscribe to their industry code of practice.

Triangle Sprays  also has direct access to Beissbarth four-wheel digital and computerised wheel alignment, Beissbarth air-conditioning and we can arrange for ding removal, trim repair, wheel refurbishment, windscreen replacement, tyre renewal and MOT’s with our trade partners, often at reduced prices.
